    Default Republican-leaning independent for Obama

As a Republican-leaning independent, if the Democrats nominate Barack Obama, I'll vote for Barack. If Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee, I'll vote Republican.

Hillary Clinton's positions on the issues are all based on political expediency with the goal of being president. Like her husband, Hillary Clinton has no attachment to any position, no leadership qualities and no legal, ethical or moral compass to guide her. Also like her husband, she will need to rely on the polls to guide her to a position.

The U.S. needs a uniter not a divider for President.

Barack is not a "Uniter" . . He's a beginning Politician. Read his "Uniting" speeches made on the floor of the Senate during the ONE YEAR he's served, and of course that's when he was there . . Or, for that matter, look at his history as an Illinois Legislator . . Nada, Zip, nothing . . He was "Present", not Yea or Nay . . on ALL his votes during that term (the only one)

Other than that, He's young, good looking, and idealistic. Time and experience will take care of all three.

Barack Obama's "purported" limited experience doesn't even register as a problem for me when I compare it with the problem I have with Hillary Clinton's character.

A person's character is shaped and tested by their experiences which is why our next President's character should matter as much if not more than their experience.

1969 - While Barack Obama was being raised by a single mother and experiencing a life of racial and cultural diversity, Hillary Clinton was learning the art of triangulation and writing an admiring college thesis on Saul Alinsky whose fifth rule of political agitation was, "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon."

1979 - While Barack Obama was actively involved in the South African divestment movement to end apartheid, Hillary was reaping profits of almost 10,000% in the futures markets and leaving taxpayers with her real-estate losses in the Savings & Loan bailout.

1989 - While Barack Obama served as the Harvard Law Review's first black president in its 104 year history, Hillary Clinton then wife of the Arkansas governor was receiving payments from a law firm that was doing the state's business and receiving board of director payments from Wal-Mart where she remained silent about Wal-Mart's anti-labor union practices.

1999 - While Barack Obama was securing bipartisan support for health-care reform and passage of low-income tax credits and child care subsidies in the Illinois legislature, Hillary Clinton was urging her husband to bomb Yugoslavia and supporting his Iraq "regime change" policy in order to divert public attention from the president's marital, legal and ethical infidelities.

2007 - While Barack was promoting a restoration of balance between work and wealth and criticizing special interests for distorting U.S. tax codes, Hillary and her husband were liquidating their blind trust of the nearly $50 million amassed during their years in public office.

Hillary Clinton's positions on the issues are all based on political expediency with the goal of being president. Like her husband, Hillary has no attachment to any position, no leadership qualities and no legal, ethical or moral compass to guide her. Also like her husband, she will need to rely on the polls to guide her to a position.

Barack Obama possesses the leadership, principles and visionary qualities of character needed to unite and not divide our country as the global economy teeters on the brink of economic meltdown not unlike the Great Depression.

Afterall the Roaring Twenties decade that preceded the Great Depression, like the Irrational Nineties that preceded our current decade, were both a golden age for technology, scandal-plagued politicians, corporate greed, and unrestrained personal debt and speculation.

One: Diversity is the antithesis to Nationalism . . Assimulation is the key to keeping this country great, not divisive tribalism . .

Two: You have just outlined the conditions that the Democrats have criticized the Republicans for doing . . while consistently backing the Clintons and their agendas . .

In my view, neither party has put forth a viable candidate, nor have they made any attempt to change the views of their Congressmen (and Women) towards their constituency. Without the changing of the basic parties tenants, the American People should not support neither!

And I gotta add . . Just because I've heard several others say the same damned stupid thing, wait, let me quote . .

As a Republican-leaning independent, if the Democrats nominate Barack Obama, I'll vote for Barack. If Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee, I'll vote Republican.
Go back a second . . Doesn't Obama and Hillary say pretty much the same things? Except the "Visionary" has never explained how he was going to pay for any of it, and Hillary has . . Y'see, the "Visionary" is selling the "Church of What's Happening Now" and he's a hell of an orator . . But the day after the swearing in, the nation will start a long slide downhill, mostly because Congress ain't gonna give him diddly unless there's something in it for them . . Plus, while he's telling you (and everybody else) that we'll be out of Iraq before his first month in office has passed, He knows absolutely, that even reducing troop numbers now would lead to a literal massacre of those troops left behind . . Trust me Bunkie, DISENGAGEMENT IS A LOT TOUGHER THAN ATTACKING AND OCCUPYING . .

Obama's selling "Hope" and "Change" . . He's going to Jeruselem and throw the money changers out . . You HOPE he will, and he'll CHANGE if he doesn't

It dazzles me when a person says what you have said because it's no more than an Oxymoron . . Obama or McCain, I'll vote for one or the other . . Wotthehellareyouthinking? Thats a similarity shared by apples and grapefruit . .

Honestly, McCain has done more to affect Congress' operation than any other in office in twenty years or so . . although he hasn't piled up any list of successes . . But he definitely knows what is needed . .

Personally, I hope McCain is intelligent enough to nominate Joe Lieberman as his running mate, because that's about as "Bi-Partisan" as you can get. I don't think either of the opposing candidates could beat them . .

    ButwotthehelldoIknow?

Obama is a sack of ***** money junkie politician, just like virtually all of the house and virtually all of the senate and just like virtually everyone who seeks an office in those two houses.

Obama has given speeches on foreign policy that were roundly applauded by the likes of Bill Kristol.

    Obama is a drug warrior.

    Obama is a gun-grabber.

Obama thinks that the federal government should help out with disaster relief.

Obama wants fascisized health care, for all Americans.

Obama doesn't give a flip about civil liberties.

Obama voted to reauthorize the USA Patriot Act.

Despite running on an antiwar platform for his seat in the Senate, Obama hasn't done one single thing to end the war in Iraq.

    Obama is a military interventionist.

Well no matter. Obama is the next U. S. President regardless of what us liberal, conservative, socialist, fascist, DonkeyPhantnatic, Corprat, evangelicals with wedgies think, say, or, do. A done deed unless a super Lunitic gets through the SS (Secret Service).

Only if you vote for him!

He's got a tough row to hoe once he's nominated, with little background and lots of B.S. . . . Plus, ole Ralph's gonna run again and he'll siphon of some of the green votes as well as the Redneck Democrats . . . gotta remember, there's about 30+% of the whites that won't vote for ANY Black man (or woman) and while that isn't quite the 46% that won't vote for Hillary, that's a bunch . .

I'm not being racist, but realist when I say this . . It's no more than established fact.

Obama is a global socialist puppet of the CFR and Zbigniew Brzezinski.
If you want more redistribution of our wealth to foreign countries, go with Obama.
